Early redemption of the Islamic Unrated Islamic Medium Term Notes of up to RM200.0 million in nominal value pursuant to an Islamic Medium Term Note Programme by Anakku Sdn. Bhd.
Trackland Sdn Bhd became a substantial shareholder of the Group. Dato’ Sri Tan Thian Poh was appointed as the Group Chairman. Mr Ng Chin Huat renounced from the role of Group Chairman and resumed the role of Group Managing Director. A one for one Rights Shares was issued in the same year.

The Lillian brand was marketed by Ocean Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (established in 1975) with Ng Tiong Leng as the Company's Managing Director.
